About the role:

James Milson village is an established Aged and Retirement Living Service Provider based in North Sydney.  James Milson Village has a strong reputation for providing excellent care and services for the elderly people seeking our care and services.

The Quality and Systems Manager will report to the CEO and will take a lead role in our current and future care and services; lead policy and process development, implementation and review across the organisation.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • The Quality and Systems Manager will lead the development, implementation and review of organisation systems and quality framework.
  • Manage the organisation Quality  Program.
  • Provide systems based education to the staff team.
  • Participate in and support management decisions in relation to organisation growth, development and improved outcomes for all stakeholders.

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in policy evaluation, development and implementation in an aged care context.
  • Ability to undertake comprehensive auditing of systems and processes.
  • Ability to identify and develop strategies to achieve quality improvement outcomes for the organisation.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance processes, risk management and continuous quality improvement principals.

 

 

 

RECEPTIONIST / ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

James Milson Village is currently seeking an enthusiastic person who is self-motivated, has a desire to add value and who is interested in a long term role within an aged care organisation.

About the Role

This is a perfect role for a Receptionist/Administrator/Secretary who would enjoy working in a busy and diverse environment as well as being an integral part of the future development and growth of the village.

You will be the face and voice of our well respected and successful organisation;  as such you will be the central figure for the organisation so, you should enjoy being the “go to” person!

Your main role will be as the Receptionist for the Village.  As a secondary position you will also be supporting our CEO and the Operations & Care Manager with Secretarial Duties. This makes an ideal position for anyone looking for a reception role with some variety and career development.

As the first point of contact for the village, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but not limited to: answering incoming telephone calls, handling enquiries, taking messages and paging staff, organising taxis and couriers, managing boardroom bookings and catering, sorting and distributing mail, filing, ordering stationary, posting resident notices, advertising, typing letters and other general administration.

About You

You will be a team player, professional and friendly and have the ability to prioritise and juggle several tasks at once.

Skills and Experience

Must have at least 2 years experience in similar roles; preferably in aged care.
Strong computer and typing skills

Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)

Ability to take the initiative and give attention to detail

Excellent customer service skills

Strong verbal and written English communication

Professional, friendly disposition, and have the ability to remain calm in a very busy office.

Self-motivated, trustworthy, takes pride personal appearance.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am- 4:30pm

AGED CARE EMPLOYEE

James Milson Village is currently seeking an enthusiastic person who is self-motivated, has a desire to add value and who is interested in a long term role within an aged care organisation.

About the role:

This is a perfect role for an aged care nurse who would enjoy working in a busy and diverse environment as well as being an integral part of future development and growth of the village.

You will join a valued and supportive team of nurses providing care to our residents.

About you:

You will be a team player, professional and friendly and have the ability to work a regular roster within our village.

Skills and experience:

  • Must have at least experience in a similar role; preferably in aged care.
  • Excellent customer service and nursing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication.
  • Professional, friendly disposition, and have the ability to remain calm in a very busy aged care home.
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, takes pride in personal appearance.
